Darling Gails are an American-Puerto Rican hyperpop duo who met via social media and bonded over a love of schlocky horror films and sugary fast pop music.
Their musical style is quirky, eclectic and features everything from radio-friendly dance pop to more aggressive hyperpop beats. Often compared to artists like 100 Gecs, Terror Jr, and Charli XCX, they channel many different influences such as K-Pop and MySpace era Pop Punk into their music.
2023 saw the release of their debut album 'Chesta' and they quick began work on their upcoming sophomore album 'Gunk', which is due for release on July 19th, 2024.
